Cami Crawling

Cami started crawling on Monday...while I'm out of town for work for a week. I knew it was going to happen but it still stinks. Atleast Jonathan posted this adorable video on facebook so I can watch her whenever I want! She's getting so big!

Swimming Lessons!

Cami and I arte taking swimming lessons at the YMCA and they are so fun! We play games and sing songs in the water. Yesterday was the first day and Cami was just kind of looking at me like I had lost my mind but today she was starting to get into it, kicking her legs and splashing her arms so I'm excited to see how she'll be by the end of the two weeks! Wow it's been a while...oh well not going to try to catch up. We got Camryn a kiddie pool today and despite the fact today hasn't been the sunniest, warmest day we had to let her try it out and here's how it went....

Oh well we will try again on a warmer day I guess.

Squash that idea!

So we've been trying the rice cereal for over a week and every attempt ends up the same....1 bite in and we have a screaming bloody murder Camryn. So I decided maybe she just didn't like the taste of the rice cereal and got some squash for her to try today. The pictures speak for themselves about how much better this went! She even took the spoon and tried to feed herself!



Yesterday we went and got her picture taken with the Easter Bunny...quite a differance from her 1st picture with Santa where she slept through the whole thing! But we still couldn't get a smile out of her.

She's also had a pretty nasty cough that was accompanied by a come and go fever so after the forth trip to the doctor in 8 days she was given breathing treatments. Not a big hit in Camryn's world but she seems to be doing a little better. Still a nasty cough but no fever since Wednesday.

4 Months already?

Camryn turned 4 months on Tuesday and Wednesday had her 4 month doctors appointment. She's a very big girl! She weighed 15 lbs 13oz and was 26 1/4 inches tall. That makes her in the 95% on weight and greater than the 95% on height! She got the go ahead to eat start eating rice cereal and then baby food. We waited until this morning to give it a try since such a mess at 5 in the morning didn't seem like a good idea. I would not say it was a success and here are the pictures to prove it:

I literally don't think she swallowed one bite of it. Oh well. Funny story about the rice cereal...On the way home from the Dr's appointment I was on the phone with Jonathan telling him Camryn could now have rice cereal. He was really confused by the whole process and had me explain several times. I asked if he got it and he said "sorta....we take some formula and we mix it with the rice crispies?" LOL he thought she was gonna eat rice crispies with no teeth and that's why he was so confused!

We went and had family pictures taken a couple of weeks ago. There were a few really good ones but other than these I was unimpressed with Studio One. When she was like 4 or 5 weeks old I started teaching her to stick her tongue out...really cute right? Well yeah until 95% of the pictures we took she had her tongue out in...haha.
